Resident Surgeries
The CMO Board of Director Trustees are keen to meet residents. During this unprecedented time, it is difficult to meet physically. We have therefore set up two surgeries for you to attend. You are free to ask those present any questions you have about living at Chilmington Green and about the CMO. Sessions are for 20 mins per household and will be done via Microsoft Teams. Don’t worry, you don’t have to have Teams to be able to access these sessions. We can help get you all set up.
Surgery 1: Friday 4 September 4 – 6pm
with Alison Breese, Board Trustee and SallyAnne Logan, CEO
Surgery 2: Thursday 17 September 4 – 6pm
with Neil Shorter, Board Trustee and SallyAnne Logan, CEO
To book your slot, please email your name, first line of your address and preferred session date and time to hello@cmo.org.uk. One of the team will come back to you to confirm your slot and provide you with all the log on details. If you are unable to email, please call 01233 330 882.
The First CMO AGM
The CMO has been live for a year in August. Time has flown since our first residents joined us in September of last year.
The Board are keen to hold the first Annual General Meeting (AGM) in early Autumn to do the essential formal business of closing the 2019/20 Year End accounts, but crucially as an opportunity for you to meet the Board and to hear more about the roles and responsibilities of the CMO. This will
also be a good time for you to meet our managing agent partner, RMG.
We are keen to hear your ideas about what you want the CMO to be doing in the community over the coming months given physically getting together is still very challenging. Our community building is pretty much ready to go (Covid-19 dependant of course!) and the Board is looking for you, our residents, to share when we should open the building and what you would like to see going on there.
We want as many residents to attend as is possible but if you can’t and still want to vote or pose a question to the Board, don’t worry, we will be able to arrange for you to make a proxy vote and/or have your questions answered by the Board. More info to follow.
What Do You Think?
Firstly though, we want to understand from you the best time of day to hold the AGM and how accessible an online AGM is to you as a resident. This year, because lockdown restrictions are likely to still be in place, we are planning for a virtual meeting. The meeting will probably last up to one and a half hours.
So, what time of day best suits you? Please email hello@cmo.org.uk with your response by end of business day on the 4th of September. It would be helpful if you could let us know your name and address when you email please.
Mornings between 10 & midday
Lunchtime between midday & 2pm
Afternoons between 2 & 4pm
Early evening between 4 & 6pm
Evening between 6 & 8pm
Do you have the technology to join an online AGM? If not, please email hello@cmo.org.uk or call
01233 330 882 to chat to the team about alternatives.
CMO Walkabouts
The CMO Team regularly walk around the development and chat to residents as well as dropping off information about the CMO. We have spoken to a number of you and have enjoyed getting to know you and finding out how you are finding living at Chilmington Green. We will be continuing this
activity over the coming months as a way of getting to know you all. So, if you see us about (usually Katy and SallyAnne), please come and say hello. Alternatively, if you would like us to knock on your door next time we are visiting, please email hello@cmo.org.uk.
Once the community building is open, it will be much easier to say hello and we will be on site every week. You will be able to pop into the building or no doubt, we will bump into you as we move about the neighbourhood.
