Chilmington Green residents are invited to decorate their Christmas trees just as the solar lights switch on at dusk. Decorating kits have already gone out to some members of the community, including pupils of Chilmington Green Primary. More kits will be available to any who would like one, simply email katrina.hoyle@ashford.gov.uk.
Trees will be in place ahead of the date at The Lakes, The Gate (Hodson), The Hamlet (Jarvis) and at Brisley (Barratts). Residents are welcome to decorate the trees at any time, and to keep an eye out if those solar lights aren’t getting enough sun! On the 10th however it will be a nice moment to celebrate and who knows, Santa might just be around the corner…
