The CMO is aware that letters have gone out to residents regarding the proposal submitted by Hodson Developments to modify or discharge obligations contained in the Section 106 agreement dated 27 February 2017. We want to reassure residents that the CMO will be independently making comments on this appeal in the best interests of the overall development.

There are certain aspects of the appeal that are outside of the CMO remit for example the provision of the bus service, the A28 improvement works, off site pedestrian and cycle links and it would not be appropriate for the CMO to comment on these.

We strongly advise residents that the most effective way to have your individual views considered is to comment on the appeal using the methods identified in the letter sent by Ashford Borough Council.
