Meet your neighbours – make your mark – have fun

Over the summer, residents helped create a new flag for Chilmington Green. The new Flag will reflect the identity of Chilmington and the people who live there. This is the finale event where we’ll show off the new flags, with live music, food and kite making!

All ages welcome.

The event is being organised by Emergency Exit Arts and Locality in partnership with the CMO and Ashford Borough Council.

1pm – 2.45ish – Kite-making, refreshments and social time

3pm – 1 minute silence, followed by short talks from local councillors and presentation of the Chilmington Flags

3.30pm – Kite-flying outdoors

4pm – Event ends.
