Christmas in Chilmington
On Tuesday 6th December, Tom Lewis Chilmington’s Community Chaplin and Linda’s Florists are organising a free wreath making workshop from 10.00 to 12.00 at the Singleton Environment Centre. All materials and floral arrangements are provided thanks to funding by Ashford Borough Council, provided exclusively for Chilmington Green residents.
Following this, Saturday 10th December from 4pm Chilmington Green residents are invited to decorate their Christmas trees just as the solar lights switch on at dusk. Decorating kits have already gone out to some members of the community, including pupils of Chilmington Green Primary. More kits will be available to any who would like one, simply email katrina.hoyle@ashford.gov.uk. Trees will be in place ahead of the date at The Lakes, The Gate (Hodson), The Hamlet (Jarvis) and at Brisley (Barratts). Residents are welcome to decorate the trees at any time.
